Alien Motivation

Humans as slaves and chow. In order to acclimate them for a lifetime of space travel, the fittest humans are taken and "modified" to be ruthless, mindless mutant slaves. They only obey orders given by their Alien Masters. Weaker humans are taken and made into food (and possibly other things) to provide provisions for the Aliens' trip back. Perhaps bits of the Alien architecture should be made from bones of humans, bits of the spaceship should seem to run using human organs integrated with mechanical devices. The computer banks might be rows upon rows of brains wired together, with a soundtrack of faint screams and painful whispers...

"Stalker" Villain

Something that can be easily recognized and possibly goes through several different forms as the Trails continues. Possibly a mutant creation that pursues the guests violently? Maybe it would show up at the finale to wreak havoc? It could be a costumed character with a mask for a face, so it could show up at several different points played by different actors/techies. [Also could just be a vague shadowy thing.] Basically, the thing appears at several points along the Trail and tries to eat the guests. Possibly succeeds in eating the guide? I'm thinking it should start small, and grow bigger as the adventure continues, and it needs a distinctive silouette so it can be recognized easily by the guests.

Many stations should have Alien-actors and Alien-dummies where all you can see are empty, black eyes staring and dark shapes moving in the darkness and the trees, watching every move...

UFO Sighting

One of the earlier stations where the Wild West theme is still happening should begin with a UFO sighting. Somehow, we should find a way to create the illusion of some sort of object moving in the sky, perhaps through the window of a small shack via Pepper's Ghost effects. Nobody will mention it to the guests, but it will be fairly obvious, like a landing or something similar. It should also incorporate a noise, and maybe a bright light and an Alien appearing at the window sill to peer inside during the Wild West station.

Government Agents

Someone from the military should show up and "lean" on the guests a little... Ask them if they've seen anything unusual out on the Trail. If the guests mention anything about Aliens, the Military Man will become threatening. He'll tell them to enjoy the rest of the show and FORGET anything else they see tonight. Or else. Maybe he should threaten them with a pistol. [Circa FoxfireĂs MIB style character from a few years back?]

Alien Ruins

A good story that won't require a spaceship set to be built would be to claim that the Basin was the sight of an old coverup at one point, and that some artifacts and ruins had been found once upon a time. That would allow us to build stuff on the Trail in random places, and might give an excuse as to why there is no ship to visit during the adventure.
