Richard Fowler (Kung-Fu Ballroom) wanted to play this halloween. So we had a nice zombie rampage at the Austin Ballroom Dancers Halloween Dance! Materials used are mostly Skin Tite by Smooth-On and Paradise water-color makeup by Mehron (mixed on my hand as I went), with additional Ben Nye makeup in a bruise kit and supporting roles.
Zombie Horde!
I Had a bit of an explosion in the blood makeup... testing a new product.
Jennifer was a fun one! On a whim, I made a bunch of radioactive yellow bumps, that I glued onto her as nasty pustules. Marla then did the painting around them.
I believe Michelle did Christie there, while I did her date Drowned Boy (ummm, whose name escapes me now).
I need to learn her name; she was lovely! I stuck on a few pre-cast lesions and did additional silicon build-up. She was my first Zombie in this style, and took bloody well forever to put together. Richard was champing at the bit, waiting forf his turn.
I think Marla did the wonderful Dr. Dead.
Richard was my big zombie production, though I had to do his makeup fast; the dance was starting and we were running out of time! There are a few firsts for me here... the pre-cast lesions (done on his lifecast); the poly foam skull-cap with brains and lesions; and hair punched into the polyurethane foam! Latex would work better, but I currently lack the facilities to work with most foam latexes. Michelle formed the cut on his stomach.
