Sponsor: A Guy Named Rick

Rick has been an avid reader of the Boris project for a very long time, and has been in correspondance with me for easily a year now.

He is a machinist in the aerospace industry (as best I can tell), and has had ideas for Boris ranging from alternative air compressors, to possible weapons, to ways I can modify my shop machinery to make it work better. Actually, I don't think I've implemented any of those plans -- but they were all good ones!

Rick has moved twice during the Boris project (I believe)... once to Tucson, Arizona and then, quite soon after, to Seattle, Washington.

When I became frustrated with Shane's slow turnaround time and was threatening in the Journal to give him the boot, Rick stepped in and offered to make the parts for me. It seems that in his new job he has after-hours access to the workshop... and he certainly has enough enthusiasm to carry him through the job.

Since he started cutting parts I think I've gotten a package in the mail at least once a week with either samples or complete sets of parts. His dedicated efforts are making the Boris project glide ahead smoothly, and I declare him an honorary Project Boris team member.

Oh, and his parts are beautiful. Magnificent. I am the envy of all members of The Robot Group (in Austin, TX) with these parts.

Thanks Rick!
